Brookhaven had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They blew past the Natchez Bulldogs, posting a 38-0 win. Considering the Panthers have won four games by more than 33 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

It was another big night for Caiden Quarles, who rushed for 68 yards and three touchdowns. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high. Timmothy Smith also helped out with an impressive 94 receiving yards.

Brookhaven's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Natchez, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.

Looking ahead, Brookhaven will be playing in front of their home fans against Northeast Jones at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Panthers 10.9, the Tigers 14) so any points scored will be well earned. Natchez does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
