Baseball Recap: Mortimer Jordan Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Mortimer Jordan can now relate to. They came up short against the Buckhorn Bucks on Friday, falling 17-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bucks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-4 on Friday.

Mortimer Jordan saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John Owen Dean, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. Tyler Allen also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Mortimer Jordan now has a losing record of 17-18. As for Buckhorn, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 25-13 record this season.

As of now, neither Mortimer Jordan nor Buckhorn have any future games scheduled.
