Baseball Recap: Proctor Academy Comes Up Short

Proctor Academy lost against Vermont Academy back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Hornets fell 7-4 to the Wildcats.

Proctor Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ian Rosenshine, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Proctor Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Vermont Academy, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Proctor Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe St. Paul's at 4:40 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Vermont Academy will square off against rival Kimball Union Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
