Softball Recap: Humble Comes Up Short

Humble fell victim to Atascocita and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 17-0 to the Eagles. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Wildcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Humble dropped their record down to 5-20 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Atascocita, their record is now 20-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Humble is set to challenge their familiar foe King at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Atascocita will take on rival Kingwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 2.9, the Mustangs 1.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
