Yerington waltzed into their matchup on Friday with 12 straight wins... but they left with 13. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Coral Academy of Science - Reno Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Yerington was: they took every set by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-13, 25-11.

Aiyana Brown paced Yerington's offense, picking up 11 kills. Brown got some help from Maite Pelayo Fonseca and her 14 assists. Brown was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Yerington's victory bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Coral Academy of Science - Reno, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Yerington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Pershing County on the 8th. As for Coral Academy of Science - Reno, after both having extra time off, they and Battle Mountain will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
