Soccer Recap: Green Canyon Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Green Canyon couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Crimson Cliffs Mustangs on Thursday, falling 5-1. Having soared to a lofty six goals in the game before, Green Canyon couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Aaron Stevens, who's now up to two this season.

Green Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Crimson Cliffs, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Green Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crimson Cliffs, they will face off against Mountain View at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mountain View will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Crimson Cliffs surely won't give up without a fight.
