Baseball Recap: Cameron Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Cameron, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees 7-6 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Dragons have posted since April 8th.

The team relied heavily on Kason Angel, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Anthony Bellanco was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Cameron pushed their record up to 14-8 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.6 runs over those games. As for Clay-Battelle, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-7 record this season.
