Callaway had to settle for second on Friday, but Slade Hunt sure wasn't going down easily. Hunt made a splash, pitching six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against Pike County last Tuesday, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock. Hunt has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
