Soccer Game Preview: Long County vs. Jenkins

The Long County Blue Tide will venture away from home to face off against the Jenkins Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Long County will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Long County's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed last Thursday. Everything went their way against Groves as Long County made off with a 7-0 victory. Long County might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to six goals the game before, Jenkins was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 9-0 to Islands. Jenkins haven't had much luck with Islands recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Long County pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four matches. As for Jenkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
