Volleyball Recap: Ariana Kearney and Reagan Saunders Secure Win for Bandys

It's playoff time, and Bandys had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past the West Stokes Wildcats 3-0 on Saturday.

The win didn't come easy: West Stokes scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23, 25-23.

Leading Bandys to victory were Reagan Saunders and Ariana Kearney. Saunders had nine digs and three aces, while Kearney had 15 digs and three aces. What's more, Saunders racked up 17 assists, the most she's had since back in August.

They weren't the only good servers: Bandys was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. They are 8-3 when they serve at least ten aces.

Bandys' victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 11-11. As for West Stokes, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17 record this season.

Bandys will square off against West Stanly at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Stokes does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
