Football Recap: Halls Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Halls walked away with it. They came out on top against the Tennessee Vikings by a score of 31-23 on Friday. The Red Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Vikings, too.

Halls had a senior duo take command as McKylus Daniel rushed for 93 yards and a pair of scores and Amari Lethgo threw for 245 yards and one touchdown while completing 78.1% of his passes. Daniel also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because the Red Devils are undefeated when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise. 100 of Lethgo's passing yards were hauled in by Brody Rogers.

Halls is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.7 points over those games. As for Tennessee, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.

Looking ahead, Halls will host Lawrence County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tennessee does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
