Baseball Recap: Rio Hondo Bobcats vs. Lyford Bulldogs
If Rio Hondo was riding high fresh off their 19-2 takedown of Progreso last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bobcats lost 9-3 to the Lyford Bulldogs on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in March.
Rio Hondo got a good showing from Adrian Betancourt, who tossed 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
