Basketball Recap: Sacopee Valley Comes Up Short

Sacopee Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 49-29 to the St. Dominic Saints. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-40 back in January.

Sacopee Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for St. Dominic, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sacopee Valley will welcome North Yarmouth Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Yarmouth Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Sacopee Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
