Henry County waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Northwest Vikings a 24-0 shutout. With that win, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 6.7 runs per game.
Irelynn Beecham was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 11 over five innings pitched.
