Hilltop has gone 8-2 against North Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Hilltop Cadets will challenge the North Central Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Hilltop is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Hilltop will bounce into Friday's game after beating Ayersville, who they had gone 0-3 against in their three prior meetings. Hilltop came out on top against Ayersville by a score of 43-34 on Friday. Given the Cadets' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Pilots are ranked 635th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, North Central hadn't done well against Liberty Center recently (they were 1-7 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way last Saturday. North Central walked away with a 54-45 win over Liberty Center. That nine point margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

The victory snapped North Central's losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-6 record. As for Hilltop, their win was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0.

Hilltop strolled past North Central in their previous matchup on December 3rd by a score of 42-24. The rematch might be a little tougher for Hilltop since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
