Football Recap: North Lincoln Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bandys, North Lincoln was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 40-38 win over the Bunker Hill Bears. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Knights as it put an end to their seven-game losing streak.

North Lincoln's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 2-7. As for Bunker Hill, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, North Lincoln will take on Foard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Knights will be up against the Tigers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 28.44 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bunker Hill, they will challenge West Iredell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
