Softball Recap: Washington Township Takes a Loss

Hebron hit Washington Township with a seven-run second inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Senators came up short against the Hawks, falling 14-5. The Senators haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Washington Township now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Hebron, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington Township will take on DeMotte Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Senators' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Knights have averaged an impressive 10.4 runs per game this season. As for Hebron, they will host Whiting at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
