Basketball Recap: Howard Huskies vs. Baldwin Braves

Howard lost against Baldwin back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Howard Huskies took a 62-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Baldwin Braves. While losing is never fun, the Huskies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 441st, while the Braves are ranked 63rd).

Deven Nelson was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 15 points and nine boards for Baldwin. Another player making a difference was Jared Mundie, who posted eight points and four steals.

Howard has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Baldwin, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.
