Football Recap: Mt. Zion Bulldogs vs. Riverdale Raiders
Wednesday just wasn't the day for Mt. Zion's offense. They took a 6-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverdale Raiders. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly six points.
Jada Bady was her usual excellent self, rushing for 196 yards and a touchdown while picking up 12.3 yards per carry for Riverdale. The dominant performance gave Bady a new career-high in rushing yards.
Mt. Zion is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Riverdale, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-4.
Mt. Zion wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 33-6 victory against Luella on the 31st. As for Riverdale, they will take on Jonesboro at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
