Volleyball Recap: Greenwood Comes Up Short

Greenwood lost against Columbus North back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Woodmen came up short against the Bull Dogs, falling 3-0. The Woodmen have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Greenwood was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-13, 25-19.

Maddison Judge paced Greenwood's offense, picking up eight kills. Judge got some help from Adrianna Rosebrock and her 21 assists. Finally, Judge was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high six blocks.

Greenwood's loss dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Columbus North, their win bumped their record up to 15-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Greenwood will welcome Decatur Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Columbus North, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bedford North Lawrence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
