Preview: Tecumseh Braves vs. Forest Park Rangers
Tecumseh is 2-8 against Forest Park since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Saturday. Both teams will face off at 8:00 p.m. on January 20th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Tecumseh is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.
Tecumseh suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They were dealt a 84-34 loss at the hands of Heritage Hills. Tecumseh has not had much luck with Heritage Hills recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Meanwhile, Forest Park unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 63-54 to North Posey.
Tecumseh bumped their record down to 4-8 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Forest Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.
Tecumseh didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Forest Park when the teams last played back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 60-55 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Tecumseh since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
