Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson). They blew past the Grandview Eagles 81-42 on Tuesday. Given the Blue Jays' advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 278th, while the Eagles are ranked 584th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jefferson is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.1 points over those games. As for Grandview, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 55-49 defeat against Perryville on the 5th. As for Grandview, they have also already played their next game, a 59-56 loss against New Haven on the 6th.
