Softball Preview: Eaton Reds vs. University Bulldogs
The Eaton Reds's road trip will continue as they head out to face the University Bulldogs at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Eaton's pitching crew has only allowed 2.6 runs per game this season, so University's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Eaton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Riverdale Ridge, who was ranked 17th in their home state at the time (Eaton was ranked eighth). Eaton came up short against Riverdale Ridge on Monday, falling 8-1. Having soared to a lofty 17 runs in the game before, the Reds couldn't push the score so high this time.
