Recap: East New York Family Academy vs. Lincoln Railsplitters
East New York Family Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 60-41 win over Lincoln.
Arianna Mercado was on fire: she scored 24 points along with six assists and six rebounds. The matchup was her third in a row with at least ten points. Amariah Clyne was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
East New York Family Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
East New York Family Academy will be home for the holidays to greet Bishop Loughlin at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to face off against Midwood at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
