Basketball Recap: Selkirk Comes Up Short

Selkirk was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 37-27 to the Northport Mustangs. The matchup marked the Rangers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Selkirk's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Northport, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Curlew the next time they take the court. Selkirk will host Curlew at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Northport will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
