Soccer Game Preview: Liberty vs. Washington Union

The Liberty Patriots will square off against the Washington Union Panthers at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Liberty will be strutting in after a victory while Washington Union will be coming in after a loss.

Liberty took care of business in their home opener on Monday (and then some). They never let Bakersfield Christian onto the board and left with a 7-0 win.

Liberty's offense was hitting Bakersfield Christian from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Mekai Dallas led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Washington Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 9-0 to Mendota. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 281st, while the Aztecs are ranked 76th).
