Baseball Recap: Ben L. Smith Takes a Loss

Ben L. Smith lost against Eastern Guilford on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Golden Eagles lost 13-3 to the Wildcats. The Golden Eagles' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it four in a row.

Cayden Patrick and Carlos Gonzalez-Herrera did some serious damage despite the final result: Patrick went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base, while Gonzalez-Herrera went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.

Ben L. Smith's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Eastern Guilford, their victory ended a seven-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-17.

As of now, neither Ben L. Smith nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
