Basketball Game Preview: Ragsdale Tigers vs. Southern Guilford Storm + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Ragsdale Tigers and the Southern Guilford Storm will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Ragsdale ended up a good deal behind Southeast Guilford and lost 54-38.

Despite the loss, Ragsdale saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Aaliya Boddie posted 19 points and five rebounds. Genesis Edwards was another key player, putting up eight points.

Meanwhile, Southern Guilford unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by Randleman 57-13 last Friday.

Ragsdale's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 2-2. As for Southern Guilford, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything went Ragsdale's way against Southern Guilford when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as Ragsdale made off with a 65-44 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
