Preview: Roundup/Melstone vs. Huntley Project
Huntley Project may have come out ahead in their last matchup, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. They will challenge Roundup/Melstone on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the teams both put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up.
You can't lose the contest if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Huntley Project's strategy against Shepherd last Friday. Huntley Project put a hurting on Shepherd to the tune of 43-6. Junior Asher Croy, who rushed for 278 yards and 4 touchdowns, was a major factor in Huntley Project's success. This marked the 7th match in which Croy has rushed for over 100 yards.
Meanwhile, Roundup/Melstone might be getting used to good results now that the squad has seven wins in a row. They took their game against Red Lodge/Roberts last Friday by a conclusive 54-27 score. Followers of Roundup/Melstone probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected six blowout victories.
Huntley Project simply couldn't be stopped the last time the two teams met, as they easily beat Roundup/Melstone 45-6. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
