Baseball Recap: Keefe Tech Drops Season-High Score on North

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Keefe Tech). They blew past the North Polar Bears 11-1 on Tuesday. The Broncos haven't had any issues with the Polar Bears recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Jaxon Fertel made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Fertel was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Joey Secatore was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one double. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Chris Anastos was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Keefe Tech was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as North only posted a batting average of .250.

Keefe Tech's record is now 8-5. As for North, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.

Looking ahead, Keefe Tech will head out to challenge Burncoat at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North, they will host Sutton at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
