If Frankfort wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Jackson Heights, they should've done a better job of containing Layla Cochran. The Cobras came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 2-0 on Saturday with plenty of help from Cochran, who had ten digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Jackson Heights never let Frankfort on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 29-27.

Jackson Heights is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. As for Frankfort, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-8.

Jackson Heights has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Cair Paravel on the 13th. As for Frankfort, they will face off against Valley Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
