Basketball Game Preview: Frontier Titans vs. Liberty Patriots

Frontier hasn't had much luck against Liberty recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Frontier Titans will look to defend their home court against the Liberty Patriots at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Saturday, Frontier was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-54 to North. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 484th, while the Stars are ranked 181st).

Meanwhile, Liberty was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 61-38 to Independence.

Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Liberty, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Frontier ended up a good deal behind Liberty in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, losing 61-42. Thankfully for Frontier, Deshawn Usochu (who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
