Royse City has gone 8-2 against North Forney recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Royse City Bulldogs are taking a road trip to face off against the North Forney Falcons at 7:00 p.m. Royse City's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so North Forney's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Royse City made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Rockwall-Heath, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went Royse City's way against Rockwall-Heath on Friday as Royse City made off with a 15-0 win. Considering the Bulldogs have won 12 matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, North Forney hadn't done well against Rockwall-Heath recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. North Forney sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 15-13 victory over Rockwall-Heath. The game was the first time the Falcons have beaten the Hawks on their field since May 16, 2015.

The team relied heavily on Aundrea Wilson, who went 3-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Natalie Rodriguez, who scored two runs while going 3-for-5.

Wilson wasn't the only one working in the hit department: North Forney kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's a new trend for North Forney: they were averaging 5.1 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 8.8.

Royse City has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. North Forney's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 10-11-1.

Everything went Royse City's way against North Forney in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Royse City made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Royse City since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
