Baseball Recap: Paris Has No Trouble Against Robertson County

Paris got themselves on the board against Robertson County on Friday, but Robertson County never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Black Devils. The result was nothing new for the Greyhounds, who have now won 18 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Paris is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-14 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Robertson County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-22.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paris will head out to face off against West Carter at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Robertson County, they will venture away from home to take on Covington Latin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.5 runs per game on average), something the Black Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of.
