Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Elkhorn South). Everything went their way against the Omaha Central Eagles on Monday as they made off with an 11-1 victory. Considering Elkhorn South have won eight games by more than two goals this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Omaha Central from everywhere, as eight different players booted in a goal. Gabby Wagenfuhr led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Elkhorn South's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Omaha Central, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Elkhorn South will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against Omaha Westside at 6:00 p.m. Omaha Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
