Basketball Recap: Biloxi Takes a Loss

Biloxi has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 39-36 heartbreaker at the hands of the St. Stanislaus Rock-a-Chaws. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Biloxi lost on Saturday, don't look at Carnellous Lenard. Despite the final result, he went 9-for-19 en route to 20 points and five boards. With that strong performance, Lenard is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Ryan Adelphin also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.

Biloxi's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for St. Stanislaus, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
