Basketball Game Preview: Oyster River Bobcats vs. Hanover Bears

Oyster River hasn't had much luck against Hanover recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Oyster River Bobcats are taking a road trip to face off against the Hanover Bears at 6:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Oyster River heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Friday. They fell to Derryfield 60-55.

Meanwhile, Hanover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against Milford, falling 59-28.

Oyster River's loss dropped their record down to 13-3. As for Hanover, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.

Oyster River came up short against Hanover when the teams last played back in January of 2024, falling 50-41. Can Oyster River avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
