Football Recap: Comer Takes a Loss

Comer fell victim to Perspectives Leadership/Technology and their airtight defense on Saturday. They were dealt a 43-0 defeat at the hands of the Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Catamounts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Warriors are ranked 27th).

Comer's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Perspectives Leadership/Technology, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Comer will take on rival Hubbard at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Perspectives Leadership/Technology is set to square off against their familiar foe Mansueto at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
