Waco is a perfect 4-0 against Lake Belton since January of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Waco Lions will challenge the Lake Belton Broncos at 7:30 p.m. Waco is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Waco took on Chaparral on Tuesday. Waco had just enough and edged Chaparral out 3-2.

Meanwhile, Lake Belton kept a clean sheet against Ellison on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Eagles 1-0.

Waco pushed their record up to 6-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 20 goals over those four contests. As for Lake Belton, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-1 and their overall record up to 3-10.

Everything went Waco's way against Lake Belton when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Waco made off with a 5-1 win. Will Waco repeat their success, or does Lake Belton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
