Basketball Recap: Rugby Takes a Loss

If Rugby was feeling good fresh off their 65-42 takedown of Hazen last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rugby Panthers came up short against the Stanley Blue Jays on Friday, falling 79-54. The Panthers were not able to make up for their loss to the Blue Jays from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Rugby has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. The victory (which was Stanley's 11th in a row) raised their record to 15-6.

As of now, neither Rugby nor Stanley have any future games scheduled.
