After a string of four wins, Tate's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 48-23 to the Navarre Raiders. Having soared to a lofty 70 points in the game before, the Aggies couldn't push the score so high this time.

Tate lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Amerie McGee, who posted six points.

Tate's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-4. As for Navarre, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Tate will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Escambia at 6:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Tate is facing Escambia at the right time seeing as Escambia is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Navarre, they will be playing at home against Laurel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
