Animo De La Hoya extended their postseason success on Friday against Monroe. They blew past the Vikings 16-4. Considering the Boxers have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win (which was Animo De La Hoya's fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.3 runs over those games. As for Monroe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

Animo De La Hoya will challenge Los Angeles CES at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Monroe does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
