South Gibson got themselves on the board against Dresden on Tuesday, but Dresden never followed suit. They came out on top against the Lions by a score of 5-0. The victory was familiar territory for the Hornets, who have now won four matches in a row.

South Gibson's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Dresden, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
