Soccer Game Preview: Faith Christian Academy vs. Community Christian

The Faith Christian Academy Conquerors will challenge the Community Christian Cyclones at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Community Christian will be up against a hot Faith Christian Academy squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. The Conquerors' defense stepped up to hand Trinity Christian a 9-0 shutout on Friday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Faith Christian Academy's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Trinity Christian are ranked 511th).

Meanwhile, Community Christian's matchup on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They blew past Christ Covenant 5-2. Ethan Barnes was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Community Christian's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Faith Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1.

Faith Christian Academy beat Community Christian 3-1 when the teams last played back in August. Will the Conquerors repeat their success, or do the Cyclones have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
