Softball Recap: Santee Falcons vs. Manual Arts Toilers
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Santee). They put the hurt on the Manual Arts Toilers with a sharp 37-7 win on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Toilers: they've now won nine in a row.
Santee got a massive performance out of Julissa Castillo, who fired off two home runs, five runs, and two stolen bases while going 4-for-5. The team also got some help courtesy of Rose Reyes, who got on base in five of her ten plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and five runs.
