After a string of four wins, Frederick's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. The matchup between them and the Linganore Lancers didn't end well, with the Frederick Cadets falling 53-38. The Cadets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lancers earlier this season, when they won 43-38.

Frederick's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Linganore, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-2.

Frederick is taking a road trip to challenge Governor Thomas Johnson on Tuesday.
