Basketball Game Preview: Tinora Rams vs. Miller City Wildcats

Tinora is 2-7 against Miller City since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Tinora Rams are taking a road trip to face off against the Miller City Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Tinora took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They walked away with a 46-35 victory over Liberty Center. While the Rams didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-13), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, Miller City put another one in the bag on Monday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Toledo Christian by a score of 71-60. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Eagles are ranked 282nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Miller City's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. As for Tinora, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Tinora came up short against Miller City in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 59-48. Can Tinora avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
