Soccer Recap: Holland Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Holland was not quite Unity Christian's equal in the second half on Monday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crusaders. While losing is never fun, Holland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 56th, while Unity Christian are ranked ninth).

Holland has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-4-6 record this season. As for Unity Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 11-0-5.

Looking ahead, Holland will square off against Zeeland East at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Unity Christian, they will face off against Zeeland West at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
