Baseball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Easton Durden and William Wiggins Lead Victory Christian Academy to Victory

Victory Christian Academy won against Southern Prep Academy last Friday with six runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Victory Christian Academy Eagles beat the Southern Prep Academy Fighting Rangers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 6-1. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Fighting Rangers: they've now won five in a row.

Wyatt Bowman was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

In other batting news, Victory Christian Academy let William Wiggins and Easton Durden run wild. Wiggins scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Durden scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Wiggins also put up a hit, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Dylan McGuire, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.
