Volleyball Recap: St. Charles Takes a Loss

St. Charles extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping them down to 2-8. They lost 3-0 to the Rushford-Peterson Trojans. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Rushford-Peterson was led to victory by Kayla Magin and Avree Connaughty. Magin had six digs and five aces, while Connaughty had seven assists and four digs. Those five aces gave Magin a new career-high.

Looking ahead, St. Charles is taking a road trip to take on Bethlehem Academy at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Rushford-Peterson, they will host La Crescent at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
